Wraparound Care

Dixons Music Primary afterschool clubs consist of a range of activities e.g. a carousel of crafts, games and computing. These are planned and delivered by our own staff and delivered in a classroom environment.

We continue to be a pilot school for the DFE led Earl Adopter Programme. Our free provision runs from 8:00am – 8:30am and places are pre-booked through Parent Pay. If demand is higher than anticipated, your child’s name will be added to a reserve list whilst staffing ratios are adjusted and increased, then you will be informed when the next space has become available. Please note that breakfast still remains available for all students from 8.20am. There is no need for students arriving between 8.20am and 8.30am to sign up via Parent Pay.

We also offer our Early starters club which runs from 7:45am – 8:00am, for a fee of £1 per day.

Payments for all clubs are paid in advance for the following half-term (e.g. paid by the end Term 6 for Term 1) on ParentPay or via the Tax-Free Childcare scheme: https://www.gov.uk/get-tax-free-childcare. For popular clubs, a reserve list will be kept, and families will be informed should a space become available outside these timeframes.

Discounts

Dixons Music Primary clubs and childcare provision (e.g. Early Starters) are registered so that HMRC Tax-Free Childcare can be used towards payments.

Ofsted Registered External Providers (off-site)

• Russell Street Nursery offers daily wraparound care for DMP students (aged 4-11) from 7.30am and from 4.15pm until 6pm. They provide drop-offs and pick-ups to and from DMP. This should be booked directly by contacting 01274 734365.

• Kidz Campus offers daily wraparound care to students aged 5 – 15 until 7:00pm. A daily pick-up service from DMP is available, including on Fridays at 2:15pm. Please book directly by contacting 07395672034
