Rebecca Firth


Assistant Vice Principal - Research and Development

Rebecca graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a First Class BSc (Honours) degree in Psychology. After completing her Teacher Training PGCE, she then joined Dixons Music Primary as an NQT in 2013, where she taught in Reception. Rebecca then became Early Years Leader in 2016 and helped to secure the Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ judgement in Early Years.

Rebecca is now completing her Masters in ‘Education and Professional Enquiry’ at the University of Leeds where she is focusing on accelerating progress for children with speech, language and communication needs.  She is also studying for her NPQSL qualification with the Ambition School Leadership programme and has worked as an Early Years Moderator for Bradford LA.

Rebecca was recently appointed as Assistant Principal and is leading Key Stage One and Science across the school. She is working on improving and refining how reading is delivered and assessed, and the teaching of topic and the foundation subjects in Key Stage One.

Currently, Rebecca is on maternity leave.
